The Southworth Lab at the Institute of Neurodegenerative Diseases at UCSF manages a Krios G4 TEM with a Selectris X energy filter and Falcon 4i direct electron detector, a Glacios TEM with a Falcon4i direct electron detector, and a Talos L120C TEM. We also manage a Helios Hydra dual beam PFIB SEM for preparation of thin lamella of biological specimens. We currently maintain 14 data processing servers each equipped with 8 GPUs and 4 ZFS file servers totaling 5 PB in capacity.
